BSE Sensex is at 13,049.75 up by 473.95 points at 2.31 pm

The market is facing strong buying support today and is trading higher on account of buying in the selective scrips mainly led by the Bank, Realty, Capital Goods and Auto stocks. The positive European Markets also give further boost to the domestic market.

The overall market breadth is positive, as 1457 stocks are advancing whereas 1063 stocks that are declining.

Maruti Suzuki reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (8.61%) at Rs.595 while Ranbaxy Laboratories the top loser down by (4.19%) at Rs.451.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 13,049.75 up by 473.95 points and Nifty is at 3,921.45 up by 104.75 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 61.89 points to 5,150.17 and the Small Cap advanced by 57.18 points to 6,381.63.

The BSE Bank index is the one among the top gainer today trading with a gain of 237.60 points at 5,637.84. The main gainers are SBI up by (6.97%) at Rs.1,215, HDFC Bank increased by (6.19%) at Rs.959.50 followed by PNB and ICICI Bank inclined by (4.57%) and (4.28%) to Rs.409.90 and Rs.542 respectively.

The most active shares on NSE are Ranbaxy Laboratories trading at Rs.449.30 with a total traded quantity of 12562264 shares followed by Reliance trading at Rs.1990.45 with a total traded quantity of 2096966 shares.
