BSE Sensex is at 13,124.06 down by 337.54 points at 2.31 pm
The market has lost further ground as strong selling continued in the selective scrips mainly led by the Realty, Metal, Bank and Consumer Durables stocks. The IT index is the only performer today. NSE Nifty is trading near the 3900 mark and the BSE Sensex is hovering above the 13100 mark. The broader market is facing the most selling pressure. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are trading with a deep cut of more than 3.5% each.
The overall market breadth is negative, as 443 stocks are advancing whereas 2130 stocks that are declining.
Satyam Computer reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (1.75%) at Rs.444.80 while Reliance Communication the top loser down by (7.32%) at Rs.407.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 13,124.06 down by 337.54 points and Nifty is at 3,924.65 down by 115.90 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 222.53 points to 5,163.94 and the Small Cap slipped by 266.13 points to 6,435.83.
The BSE Realty index is the top loser today trading with a loss of 278.49 points at 4,264.98. The main losers are Unitech down by (8.91%) at Rs.155.45, India Bull Real decreased by (7.76%) at Rs.250.15 followed by Omaxe Ltd. and Sobha Developers declined by (5.59%) and (3.36%) to Rs.124.15 and Rs.270.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2072.30 with a total traded quantity of 4384505 shares followed by Reliance Petroleum Ltd. trading at Rs.168.40 with a total traded quantity of 21975464 shares.
