BSE Sensex is at 14,091.12 down by 202.19 points at 2.31 pm
The market has lost further ground and is trading in deep red. The strong selling pressure continued across the board mainly led by the Metal, FMCG, Auto and IT stocks. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are trading with a deep cut of more than 1.5% each.
The overall market breadth is negative, as 699 stocks are advancing whereas 1870 stocks that are declining.
Reliance reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (2.37%) at Rs.2070.20 while HUL the top loser down by (4.66%) at Rs.215.50.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,091.12 down by 202.19 points and Nifty is at 4,191.05 down by 75.35 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 112.93 points to 5,702.29 and the Small Cap slipped by 139.42 points to 6,996.88.
The BSE Metal index is the one of the top loser today trading with a loss of 332.37 points at 13,523.96. The main losers are NALCO down by (6.33%) at Rs.381.60, Sterilite Industries decreased by (6.11%) at Rs.693.50 followed by Hindalco Industries and Tata Steel declined by (3.64%) and (1.49%) to Rs.143 and Rs.734.65.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2067.35 with a total traded quantity of 3600907 shares followed by Reliance Capital trading at Rs.926.15 with a total traded quantity of 4824725 shares.
