BSE Sensex is at 14,215.93 down by 71.28 points at 2.31 pm

The markets are trading marginally lower as the volatility still persists. The selling pressure is seen in the FMCG, Auto, Banking and IT stocks. The Metal index has outperformed the benchmark index today as it is trading with a gain of more than 2%. The selective buying is seen in the Oil & g as, Consumer Durables and Power stocks also.

Tata Steel reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (4.52%) at Rs.658.55 while Tata Motors reported the top loser down by (4.76%) at Rs.396.50.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,215.93 down by 71.28 points and Nifty is at 4,299.35 down by 14.20 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 10.61 points to 5,570.40 and the Small Cap slipped by 11.50 points to 6,916.10.

The BSE Metal index is the one of the top gainer today trading with a gain of 311.08 points at 13,009.78. The main gainers are Tata Steel up by (4.52%) at Rs.658.55, SAIL increased by (2.83%) at Rs.139.90 followed by Strelite Industries and Ispat Industries incline by (2.20%) and (1.95%) to Rs.635 and Rs.26.20 respectively.

The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Natural Resources Ltd. trading at Rs.98.75 with a total traded quantity of 53971156 shares followed by Reliance Capital trading at Rs.1306.70 with a total traded quantity of 3160769 shares.
