BSE Sensex is at 14,374.31 up by 99.36 points at 2.31 pm
The market is facing a lot of volatility and is trading in a see saw mode. The buying continued in the Capital Goods, Oil & Gas, Realty and FMCG stocks. The BSE Capital Goods index is facing most buying support and hs outperformed the benchmark index. In line with this, the BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are also trading higher with a gain of more than 1% and 2% each.
Tata Power reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (3.72%) at Rs.1,053.20 while Sterlite Industries reported the top loser down by (3.07%) at Rs.584.70.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,374.31 up by 99.36 points and Nifty is at 4,343.45 up by 31.60 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 53.32 points to 5,625.92 and the Small Cap advanced by 129.54 points to 6,908.32.
The BSE Capital Goods index is the top gainer today trading with a gain of 187.46 points at 11,925.73. The main gainers are L&T up by (3.40%) at Rs.2,715, Praj Industries increased by (2.66%) at Rs.202.40 followed by BEML and Siemens inclined by (1.44%) and (1.03%) to Rs.725.05 and Rs.558.40 respectively.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2169.50 with a total traded quantity of 2487338 shares followed by ICICI Bank trading at Rs.661.20 with a total traded quantity of 8115474 shares.
