BSE Sensex is at 14,515.45 up by 113.95 points at 2.31 pm

The markets are now off the day’s high as selling pressure witnessed at higher level. The selling pressure is seen in the Power, Capital Goods, Metal and Oil & Gas stocks. However, the Realty, Bank, IT and Auto stocks are trading higher. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap also gave up some of its early gains and is trading with a gain of nearly 0.5% each.

The overall market breadth is positive as 1526 stocks are advancing while 1012 stocks are declining in BSE.

HDFC reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (3.57%) at Rs.2,362 while Tata Power reported the top loser down by (2.55%) at Rs.1,024.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,515.45 up by 113.95 points and Nifty is at 4,349.85 up by 22.40 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 27.47 points to 5,754.33 and the BSE Small Cap advanced by 29.72 points to 6,955.58.

The BSE Realty index is the one of the top performer today trading with a gain of 133.08 points at 5,077.81. The main gainers are India Bull Real up by (6.51%) at Rs.301.65, DLF increased by (3.01%) at Rs.498.50 followed by Unitech and Sobha Developers inclined by (2.83%) and (2.34%) to Rs.163.25 and Rs.271 respectively.

The most active shares on NSE are Ranbaxy trading at Rs.513.40 with a total traded quantity of 5141139 shares followed by ICICI Bank trading at Rs.663.25 with a total traded quantity of 3049228 shares.
