BSE Sensex is at 14,673.92 down by 268.36 points at 2.31 pm

The market is trading weak as selling pressure continued in the selective scrips. The Metal, IT, Capital Goods and Bank stocks are out of favor today.

The BSE Oil & Gas index is the only index that is trading in green with a gain of more than 1%. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are also trading lower.

The overall market breadth is negative, as 1,117 stocks are advancing whereas 1,515 stocks that are declining.

ONGC reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (3.06%) at Rs.1,025 while TCS reported the top loser down by (6.58%) at Rs.802.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,673.92 down by 268.36 points and Nifty is at 4,407.35 down by 69.45 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 56.72 points to 5,559.22 and the Small Cap slipped by 29.08 points to 6,783.56.

The BSE Oil & Gas index is the top gainer today trading with a gain of 107.88 points at 9,972.47. The main gainers are BPCL up by (3.76%) at Rs.320.25, ONGC increased by (3.06%) at Rs.1,025 followed by Cairn India and Gail India inclined by (2.20%) and (1.04%) to Rs.225.30 and Rs.380.20 respectively.

The most active shares on NSE are RNRL trading at Rs.95.85 with a total traded quantity of 99390968 shares followed by Reliance Capital trading at Rs.1,357.90 with a total traded quantity of 6543216 share.
