BSE Sensex is at 15,136.58 down by 75.55 points

The markets are now trading lower after facing a lot of volatility. The selling pressure is seen in the Banking, Realty, Power and Capital Goods stocks. However, the IT, Pharma and FMCG stocks have maintained their gains. However, the BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap stocks are trading with marginal gains.

The overall market breadth is negative as 1182 stocks are advancing while 1368 stocks are declining in BSE.

Sterlite Industries reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (1.83%) at Rs.608 while HDFC Bank reported the top loser down by (3.59%) at Rs.1,218.50.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 15,136.58 down by 75.55 points and Nifty is at 4,536.90 down by 15.35 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 2.34 points to 5,937.87 and the BSE Small Cap advanced by 9.63 points to 7,230.05.

The BSE Bank index is the top loser today trading with a loss of 148.17 points at 7,289.10. The main losers are Bank of India down by (3.64%) at Rs.280.55, HDFC Bank decreased by (3.59%) at Rs.1,218.50 followed by ICICI Bank and IDBI Bank declined by (3.16%) and (3.18%) to Rs.715.10 and Rs.85.20 respectively.

The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Industries trading at Rs.2,328.70 with a total traded quantity of 2485818 shares followed by ICICI Bank trading at Rs.712.50 with a total traded quantity of 6679607 shares.
