BSE Sensex is at 15,304.45 up by 343.37 points at 2.30 pm
The markets are still trading higher as huge buying support going on across the board mainly led by the Auto, Capital Goods, Bank and IT stocks. However, the Metal index is trading lower as some selling pressure witnessed in these scrips. Further, the positive opening of the European market also supports the market sentiments.
HDFC Bank reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (6.04%) at Rs.1,175.65 while Sterlite Industries reported the top loser down by (6.24%) at Rs.585.
At 2.30PM BSE Sensex is at 15,304.45 up by 343.37 points and Nifty is at 4,587.70 up by 84.85 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 91.10 points to 5,934.99 and the Small Cap advanced by 40.53 points to 7,233.32.
The BSE Capital Goods index is the one of the top gainer today trading with a gain of 429.27 points at 12,709.04. The main gainers are BHEL up by (4.84%) at Rs.1856.10, L&T increased by (4.16%) at Rs.2,811.25 followed by Gammon India and ABB inclined by (3.39%) and (2.96%) to Rs.224 and Rs.870.90 respectively.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Industries trading at Rs.2,339.80 with a total traded quantity of 2992262 shares followed by ICICI Bank trading at Rs.729.15 with a total traded quantity of 8983049 shares.
