BSE Sensex is trading higher by 485.23 points at 1.31 pm
Due to sustained buying across the board, the market remains high in the positive territory. After a handsome opening market is firm on drop in oil prices. Capital Goods, Metal, Bank, Oil & Gas and Reality stocks are most favorable stocks with impressive gains. Among the Sensex pack, 29 stocks are trading in green while only 1 stock is in red and that is Satyam Computer.
At 1.31PM, the BSE Sensex is trading higher by 485.23 points at 13,834.89 and NSE Nifty is up by 134.55 points at 4,123.10.
The BSE Mid Cap and Small Cap are trading higher by 131.16 points and 183.26 points at 5,447.15 and 6,745.89 respectively.
Gainers from the BSE are Reliance Infra up by (9.61%) at Rs827.50 followed by JP Associates by (8.85%) at Rs171.50, Reliance Com Ltd by (7.73%) at Rs447.50, Bharti Airtel by (5.90%) at Rs753.90, DLF Ltd by (5.55%) at Rs453.50, ICICI Bank Ltd (5.50%) at Rs626.50 and ITC Ltd by (5.41%) at Rs181.15.
The Capital goods index is trading up by 423.35 points at Rs1,1277.49 as Alstom Proje is trading higher by (8.22%) at Rs437.85 along with Punj Lloyd (5.97%) at Rs233.25, Bharat Elect by (5.55%) at Rs1,082.20, BHEL (5.05%) at Rs1,573.95 and Elecon Eng C (4.95%) at Rs918.00.
The Metal index is trading up by 294.46 points at Rs12,561.24 as Ispat Industries is trading higher by (5.41%) at Rs22.40 along with Jindal Steel (5.39%) at Rs1,840.00, Ispat Industries (5.37%) at Rs134.35, Sh Precoated by (4.79%) at Rs104.00 and Gujarat Nre C by (4.14%) at Rs109.45.
The Oil & Gas index is trading up by 229.51 points at Rs8,972.87 as Gail India is trading higher by (6.07%) at Rs347.50 along with Relaince Natural Resources (6.01%) at Rs71.40, BPCL (5.37%) at Rs264.90, Aban Offshore by (4.28%) at Rs2,715.00 and Essar Oil Ltd by (3.95%) at Rs182.90.
From the telecommunication sector, Reliance Communications is trading higher by (5.14%) at Rs436.55 followed by Bharti Airtel up by (4.99%) at Rs746.50, Tata Communications by (2.03%) at Rs381.10 and Idea Cellular higher by (1.46%) at Rs87.00.
In auto sector Tata Motors is trading higher by (4.52%) at Rs394.65 along with M&M Ltd up by (2.79%) at Rs533.10, Maruti Suzuki by (2.78%) at Rs585.00 and Hero Honda Motors by (0.07%) at Rs689.90.
In cement sector Ambuja Cement is trading up by (3.78%) at Rs77.00 with Grasim Ind trading higher by (3.36%) at Rs1,730 and ACC Ltd by (2.77%) at Rs541.00.
BHEL is trading higher by (4.90%) at Rs1,571.60. BHEL, is set to win the order for boilers for the 1,600-MW Krishnapatnam power project of Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd (APGENCO) after beating the L&T-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries joint venture to the order by a very slim margin. Further, it has won a $520 million turnkey contract to build a 400 megawatt (MW) power facility at the Tishreen thermal power plant extension in Damascus, Syria. The contract is the first order secured by BHEL to set up a large steam turbine power facility with units of 200 MW overseas.
