Sensex down by 58.18 points at 2.31 pm
The market is not showing any sign of recovery and is trading in red. The profit booking continued in the Metal, Realty, FMCG and Auto stocks. However, the Consumer Durables, Pharma and IT stocks held their gains. The BSE Sensex is trading around the 15200 mark and the NSE Nifty is hovering around the 4500 mark.
The overall market breadth is positive, as 1386 stocks are advancing whereas 1106 stocks that are declining.
Ranbaxy Lab. reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (4.55%) at Rs.568.25 while JP Associate the top loser down by (3.89%) at Rs.178.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 15,192.02 down by 58.18 points and Nifty is at 4,513.30 down by 26.05 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 5.60 points to 6,229.10 and the Small Cap advanced by 55 points to 7,580.90.
The BSE Health Care index is the one of the top performer today, trading with a gain of 41.76 points at 4,482.91. The main gainers are Pfizer up by (6.06%) at Rs.627.70, Ranbaxy Lab. Increased by (4.55%) at Rs.568.25 followed by Glenmark Pharma and Fortis Health Care inclined by (4.90%) and (1.03%) to Rs.705.90 and Rs.83.85.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2274.90 with a total traded quantity of 2889084 shares followed by Reliance Capital trading at Rs.1118 with a total traded quantity of 3393794 shares.
