Sensex is at 13,714.89 up by 79.48 points at 2.31 pm
The market is trading with a little bit of volatility as buying is seen in the Pharma, FMCG and Realty stocks. The Banking index is trading with a most gain of more than 3%. However, the Capital Goods and Consumer Durables stocks are trading lower. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are trading lower.
The overall market breadth is negative, as 1040 stocks are advancing whereas 1388 stocks that are declining.
Ranbaxy Laboratories reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (3.97%) at Rs.454.80 while Satyam Computer reported the top loser down by (3.38%) at Rs.370.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 13,714.89 up by 79.48 points and Nifty is at 4,113.25 up by 21 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 6.01 points to 5,233.38 and the Small Cap dropped by 38.69 points to 6,417.19.
The BSE Bank index is the top gainer today trading with a gain of 182.33 points at 6,371.22. The main gainers are Bank of Baroda up by (5.05%) at Rs.226.85, Bank of India increased by (4.44%) at Rs.268.15 followed by PNB and SBI inclined by (3.95%) and (3.46%) to Rs.457.85 and Rs.1,344.70 respectively.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2115.70 with a total traded quantity of 1892670 shares followed by L&T trading at Rs.2507 with a total traded quantity of 1486326 shares.
