Sensex is at 15,632.73 up by 236.91 points at 2.31pm

The market is trading strongly on the back of continued buying support from the Bank, Capital Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Durables stocks. The BSE Realty index has outperformed the other sectorial indices and is trading with a gain of more than 4%. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap index both are trading with significant gains.

The overall market breadth is positive, as 1683 stocks are advancing whereas 902 stocks are declining.

HDFC Bank reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (5.69%) at Rs.1217 while Satyam Computer the top loser down by (1.03%) at Rs.479.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 15,632.73 up by 236.91 points and Nifty is at 4,637 up by 64.50 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 78.80 points to 6,378.52 and the Small Cap advanced by 97.55 points to 7,766.66.

The BSE Realty index is the top performer today, trading with a gain of 223.20 points at 6,094.07. The main gainers are India Bull Real up by (8.07%) at Rs.430.50, DLF increased by (3.29%) at Rs.507.35 followed by Parsavnath and Omaxe Ltd. inclined by (2.27%) and (2.25%) to Rs.170.90 and Rs.181.90.

The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2320.70 with a total traded quantity of 1786865 shares followed by L&T trading at Rs.2824.80 with a total traded quantity of 1272417 shares.
