The market after recovering in the mid session again fell due to selling pressures across the counters. Selling was also seen from the BSE Small cap and Mid cap space as they are trading lower by 16.22 points and 32.53 points at 7,707.34 and 9,641.33 respectively. Among the Sensex pack, 15 stocks are trading in green while only 14 stocks is trading in red.

At 1.31PM, the BSE Sensex is trading lower by 75 points at 17,751 while NSE Nifty is trading down by 16.9 points at 5,251.50.

Gainers from the BSE are Spice Telecom trading up by 7.51% at Rs37.20 along with ING Vysya bank by (5.18%) at Rs348.30, Sun Pharma by (5.10%) at Rs1253.45, Punjab Tractors by (5.07%) at Rs285.

The Bankex index is trading down by 98.58 points at 10,057.94. Pulling it are Union bank trading lower by (3.90%) at Rs181.30 in line with BOB by (2.80%) at Rs359.50, Kotak bank by (2.70%) at Rs824.75, IOB by (2.61%) at Rs162.20, PNB by (2.32%) at Rs584.

The Auto index is trading up by 33.81 points at 4,807.15 as Hero Honda is trading higher by (2.58%) at Rs739 in line with Bharat Forge by (2.35%) at Rs292.30, M&M by (2.33%) at Rs674, Bajaj Auto by (1.82%) at Rs2216, TVS Motor by (1.77%) at Rs43.15.

In the telecommunication sector, Tata Communications is trading lower by (4.72%) at Rs510 along with Reliance Communications by (0.68%) at Rs589 while Idea Cellular and Bharti Airtel is trading down by (0.87%) and (0.24%) at Rs114 and Rs840 respectively.

Mahindra and Mahindra is trading up by (2.33%) at Rs674 as the company is setting up a factory to assemble its vehicles in US. The company plans to assemble models like Scorpio, new Ingenio, MUVs Bolero and its pick up trucks at the new overseas facility.

BHEL is trading up by (0.35%) at Rs2272 as the company has bagged a Rs1075 Crore order from Gujarat State Energy Generation for setting up a 350mw power plant in Gujarat. The project is slated for completion in 27 months.
