Sensex live up by 112.36 points at 2.32pm
The market has recovered a bit from the day’s and is traing with marginal gain. The Realty, Consumer Durables, Oil & Gas and Capitl Goods stocks are out of favor today. Howevr, the IT, FMCG and Pharma stocks are gaining some momentum. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE small Cap has under performed the benchmark index today as they are still trading lower.
The overall market breadth is negative, as 909 stocks are advancing whereas 1669 stocks that are declining.
ONGC reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (7.55%) at Rs.888 while Reliance the top loser down by (3.95%) at Rs.2177.20.
At 2.32PM BSE Sensex is at 15,627.15 up by 112.36 points and Nifty is at 4,636.90 up by 51.30 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 37.38 points to 6,359.99 and the Small Cap dropped by 34.23 points to 7,686.03.
The BSE IT index is the top performer, trading with a gain of 197.33 points at 4,594.68. The main gainers are Satyam Computer up by (6.58%) at Rs.517.80, Infosys Technologies increased by (4.83%) at Rs.1961 followed by Wipro and HCL Technologies inclined by (4.15%) and (3.81%) to Rs.517.75 and Rs.301.05.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Industries trading at Rs.2221.95 with a total traded quantity of 5189358 shares followed by ONGC trading at Rs.957.80 with a total traded quantity of 7270087 shares.
